The Year in Color: My Favorite Palettes, Prints & Moments from 2025
As the year comes to a close, I always find myself looking back through the colors, textures, and moments that shaped it. Every collection starts with a feeling, and this year was full of them. Inspiration came from everywhere, from soft morning light and quiet walks to the bold pattern mixes that remind me why I love what I do.
This was the year of painterly florals, relaxed pattern pairings, and layered textures that make a space feel personal. I leaned into warm color drenching, calm greens, and unexpected hits of pink that brought everything to life. Whether it was a new wallpaper design or a set of arches, each piece told a little part of the story of the year.
What I love most about creating is how each season brings its own rhythm. Some weeks are all about big ideas and new designs, others are about the quiet details that make it all work. Looking back, I’m reminded that creativity doesn’t always come in a rush. Sometimes it grows slowly, like layering paint or building a collection one pattern at a time.
I’m endlessly thankful for everyone who has supported Tracy’s Fave Designs this year. Every kind message, every shared photo, and every order mean so much. I love knowing that something I created has found a place in someone’s home and brought a bit of joy or inspiration.
As I start planning for the year ahead, I’m feeling excited, grateful, and full of ideas. There are new palettes I can’t wait to explore, fresh pattern mixes on the horizon, and a few surprises in the works.
