Live Your Style with Decorative Objects

Decorative objects are the little pieces that add personality anywhere in your home.  if you feel your space is lacking character, try adding in some small objects that reflect who you are.

I love things like knots and rings to add that little something on an end table or on a stack of books.  One of my favorite places to find cool pieces are thrift stores.  I love mixing old and new to add interest and unique stories to a room. 

Some of my go to objects are: vintage blocks…I found some great building blocks that have my initials.  Tiles…these can add a pop of pattern or texture and can even be used as coasters.  Metallic pieces…knots, shapes, etc add a cool element while still being neutral in a space.  Candleholders…these look great with or without candles and can easily add height to a setup on a shelf or table.  Links + Rings…these have gained popularity over the years and are readily available.  They look great draped over a stack of books or even spread over open pages.  Letters…a cool way to personalize a space is with a cut out letter for your family name or initials.  Glass objects/paperweights…these add a new material to any room and a great shiny contrast.

Everyone has a few tchotchkes that they love and these are the perfect pieces to incorporate to your favorite spaces.  Adding your personality into your rooms is the epitome of living your style.
