A Season for Gratitude: What I’m Thankful for This Year

This time of year always makes me pause. Before the rush of the holidays and the excitement of what’s next, I like to take a moment to look around and really notice the good things that have shaped the year. Gratitude, for me, always shows up in the details: the people, the ideas, and the quiet in-between moments that inspire creativity.

I’m thankful for creativity.
For the spark that comes from seeing color combinations I’ve never tried before, for the sketches that turn into something real, and for the feeling of flow when an idea just clicks. Every collection starts from that place of curiosity and joy, and I’m grateful for it every day.

I’m thankful for community.
For every person who has supported Tracy’s Fave Designs, whether you’ve read a blog post, sent a kind message, or brought one of my pieces into your home. Each order and every photo you share remind me that this little idea has grown into something meaningful.

I’m thankful for home.
Home has always been at the heart of what I create. It’s where style and comfort meet, where personality lives. Helping people make their spaces feel a little more personal, a little more them, is something I’ll always be grateful for.

Over the years, I’ve learned that I’m happiest when I live in a state of gratitude. Appreciating what I already have makes everything feel richer and more meaningful. That mindset comes from something deeply personal. My sister is 44, autistic, and nonverbal. Watching her navigate the world has shaped how I see my own life. I’ve always felt a responsibility and a privilege to do everything I can, to appreciate beauty, to celebrate wins, and to live fully because she can’t in the same way.

It’s a reminder I carry into my work and my home: to notice what’s good, to find joy in creativity, and to live fully in the moments we’re given.

As we move into the holiday season, I hope you’ll take a moment to pause and appreciate the small details that make your world beautiful. I’m feeling especially grateful for this creative community and for everyone who continues to live their style in such personal ways.
